Today, Hermitage Primary threw open its doors to showcase some of the wonderful learning that’s been taking place this year. Parents and families were invited to visit classrooms, tour and work with children, chat to teachers and fill themselves with coffee and cake. Teams from each year group also presented some of their interdisciplinary work to parents at a series of learning stations in the music and drama rooms. From Mini Architects (P2) to Scottish Castles (P5) through Body Organs (P3) and Eco Homes (P6); the children demonstrated a diverse range of learning with something for everyone to enjoy. To top it all off, the Scholastic Bookfair was also visiting and proved a popular attraction.
Thank you to all of the children who expertly presented their work, and to the parents, grandparents, families and friends who made this popular afternoon such a success. Hopefully you got see some of the fantastic learning and hard work that makes us proud each day.
