P5 had a very fun and exciting Health week and experienced a range of different and new experiences. They had the chance to learn about and take part in new sports such as Judo, Taekwondo, Zumba, Sailing and even some themed Yoga.
P5 loved making their own healthy pitta bread pizzas and had the chance to try a variety of colourful vegetable toppings. Inspired by ‘Lean in 15’ videos, p5s created their very own Pitta Bread Pizza videos explaining how to make healthy pizzas. In class P5 learned all about seasonality and researched the availably of different foods at different times of the year. After researching, they then planned their own seasonal meals for each season of the year. P5 investigated healthy clean eating recipes and created colourful and persuasive posters to advertise a range of healthy snacks.
