P3 School Trip to Inveraray Castle (May 2017)

As part of our Argyll and Bute topic we have been learning about the differences between island, rural and urban life within our council area.  We have been looking at smaller schools and comparing them to our own and on 31st May, we had the opportunity to visit Inveraray Primary School to help us with this.  We had lunch there, played in their playground and met some of the pupils.  They have the same amount of children in their whole school as we have in P3!  We also visited the castle, where we learned a lot and even had the opportunity to meet the Duke of Argyll.  We asked him lots of questions and he told us that he liked being the Duke and feels very lucky to live in the castle.  We finished the day off with an ice cream on the shores of Loch Fyne before heading back to school.  We all had great day and learned lots of things to help us with our topic.
