Primary 2 took their minibeast learning to the bonnie, bonnie banks on Friday 19th June, with a minibeast hunt on the shores of Loch Lomond. Following a cruise from Tarbet to Inversnaid, the pupils investigated the beach and woodlands around Inversnaid and found a fabulous array of minibeasts in their habitats. With bug pots filled, we had a lovely lunch overlooking the loch before cruising back to Tarbet. The weather was incredibly kind, although the midges forgot their manners.
A very special thanks to Mr Cordner for organising the trip and taking time to take us to Inversnaid on his boat. The children had a wonderful time.
