As part of their RME topic work, P2 recently visited Hermitage Park for the annual P2 egg rolling event.
Unusually, the sun kept its part of the bargain and made a pre-holiday appearance for the afternoon. With jackets folded in a lovely neat pile, the rolling commenced. There was a wonderful variety of colours and designs on display and following an incredibly quick countdown (certainly no Mississippis), the eggs were heartily dispatched from the top of the hill and bounded off into dutiful oblivion. Some, however, took several rolls to reach the required level of destruction and Mrs Carmichael and Mr Craig faced acusations of supplying super-eggs. But P2 are a persistent bunch and brute strength prevailed.
Thank you to the kind seagulls who waited so patiently to help clean up afterwards.
